I'd really like to throw tire chains on the front wheels of a 3G Tacoma. Truck is stock. I have v-bar chains for the rear. The mud here can be hell to deal with especially when grades get steep. Either wait until it freezes or send it.
I have seen spacers mentioned (https://wheelersoffroad.com/spidert...-5-5-bolt-circle-for-toyota-axles-whs007.html). Seems sketchy but would give enough clearance. Can you run these year round no issue?
Honestly are there any IFS vehicles or half ton trucks that can easily throw chains on the front these days? Curious what everyone's setup is.
