Nice Les, you'll love it, the only things that don't like my T1 thus far are the Kodiak Brown Bear and 6 or 7 deer I have hauled out with it. :D

Not decided yet between the msr drom or drom lite (leaning towards the lite) for a bladder for my t2, what size fits best? I havent recieved the t2 yet so no clue what size the pouch is

I use a platypus big zip for my drinking bladder with a sawyer inline filter in the bladder and where I drink so it filters as I drink. So instead of filtering or waiting for drops to work, I carry a 1.3 oz filter that is good for a million gallons (puposeldy) that I can just dip the bladder in the creek, zip it up and be on my way again. Its much preffered and faster for me than the pumping method of the Katadyn Hiker Pro that I used for several years prior to last year.

The platypus big zip fills faster than a dromedary and is also lighter. Just another option to look at. I have the 3L one and here it is filling up my 6L dromlite bag with no effort as the sawyer filter doubles as a gravity filter when I am not filtering by drinking as I go. Not bad for a 1.3 oz filter huh :D

So now everyone has a timberline right? seems like it!

I guess so... Just so everyone knows I was looking at buying one a long time ago before everyone knew about them!! ;) I am curious what their pack sales look like now versus a year or two ago?

I am curious also, not that it matters, but its neat to see what word of mouth does for a great product.

Plenty of people were thinking about it, but until they came out with the KU series and then the Timberline series a lot of people waited to buy one of their packs. Not all, there are some guys out there who have been using the Longhunter for years.

It seems like the KU and Timberline packs are what really targeted the hunting market, and I'm sure increased sales.
Aron deserves some credit in that department as well, he has been willing to share a lot of pack information with a lot of people, and has done a great job of reaching a certain segment of hunters with the information needed to make an informed purchase of Kifaru products.

The only bad thing is knowing when to stop purchasing....

"Some Credit" ;) I think you are right with the timberline appealing to more hunters and offering them in Multicam. I would like to see a long hunter in Multicam! Better yet a T1 bag in multicam on a duplex frame!

Yep, got mine last week. I have been useing 60-90# in it on hikes. The pack has been handling the weight great. Now I just need Sept to get here so I can put some meat in it and see how that works.

Id think kifaru is making a killing on these timberline packs. Ik iv shown a couple guys around here even that seemed very impressed with them, and another guy is coming to check out my t1 this weekend. Kifaru if your reading this, i feel like your WI rep hahah. Seems like there is almost nothing like them out as far as weight goes and organization. I like mine so much i already want a t3 for weekend trips.
