Tikka trigger

Guys I have a 280AI Tikka custom. I have changed the spring out with MT,and one other brand from Canada. The adjustment does nothing. 1 lb 10-13 oz. with the adjustment screw in or out doesn’t matter. I have double checked the plunger is in correctly. Any ideas guys ?

Those springs are not strong enough to function reliably over time, and it's not surprising to me that they are not transferring substantial increased pressure from reducing the space they occupy (tightening the screw).

My strong suggestion for field use is that you replace with the original spring and simply back the screw out to 2 pounds. If that's not achievable for your particular setup, I'd live with the extra few ounces or buy a KRG Midas.

I have changed a Sako and two Tikkas without issues. This one has me stumped
