Switching to the proof research 7mm prc barrel, but a little worried about weight difference. Has anyone weighed their 7mm rem mag barrel on the t3x lite? How much did it weigh?

I believe my superlite is right at 5.9lbs total and the stock is around 29oz, soooo....

Just over 4lbs for barreled action + trigger?

27.5oz action no trigger. I believe it was 30oz with trigger. Factory .270wsm barrel was 2lbs 7oz I think.

Right now I’m sitting at 4lbs 10oz minus barrel, rings and scope in a xlr magnesium chassis with all carbon options and LA 5rd magazine which is 7.5oz🙃

So, you think you will be in the 12# range when adding the barrel, scope, etc?

I’m thinking I will be in the mid upper 12s with everything including bipods. I currently have the mdt chassis, but may switch to the xlr magnesium chassis next year

No I’ll be probably 8.5lbs when finished using a 18” carbon barrel and NF 2.5-10 NXS. I have a 7 saum I just finished with a 22” carbon barrel and carbon stock utilizing the factory magazine. It’s 9.3lbs with a trijicon 2.5-16 credo scope on it.

I just got a proof prefit 22” 7mm prc barrel and it 2lb 6oz. Actually weighs the same as a 22” tikka lite 270win barrel I had lying around. Surprisingly light as I was expecting 1/4lb heavier.

I glad to hear it. Do you know how much your action weighed by any chance?

With trigger, mag, “bottom metal”, a stainless action I weighed a few years ago was 2lbs, 2oz. Original T3. Not T3x, but would expect them to be with an ounce or so.
