Tikka T3X Compact recoil pad?

Has anyone found a good replacement recoil pad for the compact that is a direct fit? Thanks.

I haven’t so far. I bought one of the Limbsavers that was supposed to fit but it didn’t.

Looking for a thinner pad? I bought a thin krg that fit the standard tikka stock, it wasn’t perfect but worked well enough

It’s been a while since I have handled a compact stock, does it take a different pad than the standard? I thought they were the same.

I do not but I have a standard krg pad I can put on a standard stock if that helps any?

ran out and took the standard krg pad from a bravo and put in on a factory stock, it’s just a hair too narrow up top and a little too wide on the bottom but it is softer feeling than the factory pad.

Have you printed the list of templates? Print them off and you can usually find something close enough to work.

They are different sizes. Left one is for the compact.

I will if I can find a replacement. I ordered a Limbsaver that will hopefully, with a little modification, fit. I will let you know.

Will you please report your findings? I came looking for the same info. I bought a limbsaver for a T3X while waiting on a compact stock, not realizing the compact pad would be smaller. Thanks!

The Limbsaver I ordered fit O.K., with a few modifications, but still not to my liking. So I'll keep running the factory recoil pad until something better comes along.

What about the Backstop recoil pad? Should do the job, I'd think.

I made my own recoil pad for the compact stock. It's a Shore 60A rubber.

I know this is an old thread, but I was just trying to figure this out and I had pretty good luck with Limbsaver pad #10824 for a Ruger American Compact. It had four posts on the back plate that I used a utility knife to remove and then moved both screw holes down by drilling a second hole and connecting the two holes. Made for about a 12.75” to 13” length of pull.
