Just ordered a threaded OEM takeoff superlite barrel in 6.5 PRC for a build, has anyone had issues running a can on this barrel profile?

Seems like there's a thread already about this subject. I've personally had my superlite in 308 cut to 18" and threaded for a suppressor no problem.

Thanks, I am addressing people that are running suppressors on the OEM threaded barrels already. I have no plans to cut this one or alter it in anyway. Just curious if people have had issues running a suppressor on this light profile of a barrel.

Factory T3x Lite in 300 mag with a Rugged Alaskan 360 on the end, I've only had good things to say about it. I get about 2" of POI shift with the can vs. without, which is to be expected.

Ah okay my mistake I misunderstood. Don't know why there would be any issues. Send it! You'll never look back

Got my Lite 6.5 PRC shooting sub MOA with a OCL Polonium 30 on it. I think it’s the same profile just without flutes.

My 20" is mounted in a 25 oz stock and balances perfectly (for me, ~3/4" forward of the front action screw) with a SWFA 6x and an 11 oz OG installed over the factory M15 adapter.

Any issues being unbalanced? 20” barrel FWIW.
Yes. The D18 and heavier profiles in a 20” barrel and longer with any suppressor doesn’t balance nicely.

The standard lite D16 profile, whether fluted or not a 20” is the longest I would personally use with a suppressor on a dedicated hunting gun.

At the range or shooting games toy gun you’re fine with longer in most cases.
