My 6.5prc I’ve been working with. Have a 20” proof sendero to put on but figured I’d play with the ember tech barrel first.

Couldn't agree more. I think im going to start collecting factory take offs just to have barrels "in stock" for myself.

Ordered a 20" 8tw 223 ctr from Europtic, picked it up couple days ago, installed a tract 3-15 eagleman mil scope. Threw the TBAC Ultra7 on as it's the only can I have currently not dedicated to a rifle. Will put the Scythe-Ti on it after season ends. Bought 10 boxes of Berger ammo, 73 and 77gr. The 77s shoot consistently touch under moa for 10 Rd groups, the 73s are just a touch over moa. Barrel is slow as F tho. 175fps under box velocity at 20". Has 160 rds on it, hasn't sped up a bit. Today last group of day with 77s was around 0.6" with the barrel so hot you could barely touch it. I did punch the throat out with a 223 wylde reamer, but that shouldn't drop mv that much. I loaded 23.5gr H4895 with 75eldm jumping 50k, 10 shots just under an inch at 2700mv. The ctr 223 mags feed fn fantastic, butter smooth, and hold 2.55 coal.

My daughter broke in her new 6.5 CM today. The rifle has an SWFA 3-9 in Sportsmatch rings and a Ti Pro brake. I gave her a choice of a few scopes I had sitting around and on other rifles. I was pretty impressed that she picked the SWFA.
