Yes, I did! It was a 300 WSM, my first Tikka and purchased in 2022. I could only acquire a couple of factory loads then due to the ammo shortage, but both shot 3-6” groups for 3 rounds. I didn’t alter the stock or anything else because I figured that would void the warranty. I called Baretta and they were super easy to work with. They sent me a new rifle two weeks later. The new one shot well right out of the gate. So, there are some bad ones, but that has to be true for anything. Btw, when I received one of my first SWFA scopes, I took it out of the box and turned the elevation turret a few clicks and then the turret immediately came off the scope (SWFA promptly replaced the scope).
What are the chances of experiencing both a new Tikka and new SWFA catastrophic failure?
