Tikka MDT HNT26

those of you with a folder how are you carrying it on a pack? i use a stone glacier quick disconnect with traditional stocks but the bottom of the hnt26 folded I don;t think fits.

Those HNT26’s look awesome! I have a tikka I like to build into a 280ai and would really like to get a HNT26 but damn they are pricey

Has anyone tried a Hawkins Hunter SA mag in the tikka hnt26? I’m wondering if it will fit and feed with my 6.5 prc. I seen this video but unsure if it will actually work in a tikka

I thought all tikka actions and mags were the same size? Why do they have LA and SA models? My tikka is a 3006 so I know I need a LA model but I am curious about the difference.

the factory tikka mags are all the same with different binders to change OAL capacity. All fit in into the same bottom metal.

The tikka HNT26 SA runs standard AICS length magazines and the tikka HNT26 LA runs the special 3.56” mdt metal magazines. So if you want to run a cartridge longer than 2.95”, you need the LA.
