UM Tikka rings. Done.
If you’re getting other stuff from UM, order direct and use the Rokslide10 code for 10%.
Otherwise you could order from S&S, Rokslide code, and get free shipping.

Any of yall ever stuck with the factory rings?

I never had a problem with them but I was never very hard on them either.

For all you guys with the UM rings running 44mm or 50mm scopes and Sendero contour barrels. Did you find that the UM recommendations for Low/Med respectively were good for you or did you wish that you went taller/shorter?

I just realized that’s a factory barrel also. That’s crazy.

Yeah, with a longer scope body it would have a bit more room with this contour. UM recommended the micro height, but they weren't in stock.

Glad I went with the lows. I prefer it close, and that's just about perfect for me.

Hopefully somebody has a pic of a larger contour barrel with a larger objective.

Micros would have probably been like cardstock close haha.

Luckily I live right near UM and they’re doing the build so we can test different rings if I go that way but that limits me as far as trying to save some money and find some second hand ones.

I’ve been drilling a hole in the bottom of my rear SM ring and using the leftover recoil pins from my UM rings. That way front and rear SM rings are pinned. In a pinch when I couldn’t get the UMs I wanted soon enough. Makes a great bang for the buck option even better. D3 Precision on EBay makes direct mount dovetail scope rings for Tikkas. Use chromoly recoil pins front and rear that will index into the threaded and unthreaded pin holes. They’re 70$ and the dovetail clamp plates are steel. Got a couple sets, quality seems excellent and definitely lighter than even Sportsmatch. Never drop tested a set that said.
