Is anyone getting the 112 match burner to shoot well out of a Tikka factory 8 twist 243 ?

I've only seen one report of them being tried and the result wasn't good. I have a 22" factory Tikka 243 on the way, so I'm wondering if it's worth trying them or not.

How'd this turn out for you? I was looking at the tikka superlite and noticed it had a 1:8 twist. Curious if a guy could get those long bullets to work in that chamber and magazine.. Like the 108 eldm or a heavier monometal bullet.

108 ELDMs are good. 112 MB were horrible, they stabilized (no key holes or baffle strike), but took me from nothing worse that 2 MOA accuracy to 10 MOAish. I'm willing to bet the OP is referencing this picture.

108 ELDM on the left, 112 MB on the right. I tried 2 powders and quite a few charge weights, they were more accurate at lower velocity for me.

I throated my factory barrel out to be able to seat the bullet out further, but I don't know if that had really made much difference.

I ended up hunting with the 108 since I didn't seem to get any random flyers with it. I was going to go back and play with the 112 some more this winter. My accuracy was far better than what Marbles shows.
