Sorry for the 101 question with 243 but has anyone loaded the 108 grain ELD-M in this caliber? Wasn't sure if you all were able to get remotely close to the lands. I wasn't sure what accuracy was like loaded to the COAL listed in the Hornady manual. Tikka has some T3x Hunters with 8" twist available.

How close are you trying to get to the lands? I load roughly .040 off in my Tikka. Any longer probably won't fit in the factory mags. The M+ mags will fit a longer COAL.

Ok boys here it is for my rifle:

COAL: 2.830
BTO : 2.288

Overall very happy with these measurements as it should perform better than a previous custom 243 I had built where the measurements were much shorter. I’ll be starting a thread for my dive into the rokslide cool aid world of tikkas if anyone cares to follow along.
Forgot to add: this is with a 105 AMax
