I’ll echo this as well. Mine didn’t like the 69’s that well. I’d like to try the 55’s.They make 69 SMK ADI ammo but the last case I got of it didn’t shoot as well as the 55 sbk.

my tikka 223 freaking hated the 77tmks! likes 75 eldm much better
what was your 75gr eldm load? These were my 5-shot groups with 20.3 - 23.8gr of TAC in .223 Starline Brass. I got pressure signs at and over 23.8gr. I have tried 73gr eldm, 75gr eldm, and 77gr TMK and I have not found a repeatable sub-MOA group with TAC. Looking for any suggestions. I might switch to Varget next?my tikka 223 freaking hated the 77tmks! likes 75 eldm much better
I’m using varget for my ladder. Really nothing to brag about out of this tikka yet…. But my 3 shoot groups were about 1inch or so during the ladder. As a trainer the 223 is better. You actually get some recoil, but not too much, and you can spot impacts at range much better. Hard to hear a 22lr hit steel at 100+ yards with ear pro on and not much splash.I’ve been strongly considering a Tikka .223 as a trainer. I have aT1x in .22LR. I don’t know if I have room in the stable for both. Have you guys had more fun/ practical training with the .223? I haven’t heard anyone speak negatively about the T1x. Just curious everyone’s thoughts; T1X versus T3x in .223
Same here! I tried XBR, TAC, CFE, and IMR4895. The only 10-shot MOA group was black hills factory 75 Match HP.
Freedom Munitions 69gr or 77gr would be my suggestion. I shoot the 69gr reman ammo with great results, so their new or match ammo would probably be even better. From my Proof 20" re barreled T3X.For the tikkas that didn’t like the AAC 77 OTM, what did you try next? Rifle loved 77 TMK hand loads but I need 1000 rounds for the S2H class coming up
AAC 77 OTM was 2-3” groups at 100. ES of 112 so not great. 77 TMK put 14 rounds (half at 24 grain, other half at 24.5 grains) all into just over 1” group
I have had great luck with H4895 under the 75gr ELDM loaded to 2.49" COAL out of my Varmint with AICS mags. 3025 fps suppressed.what was your 75gr eldm load? Jordan what bottom metal do you recommend to fit factory Roughtech stock and use AICS mags? The only weakness of the Tikka T3x in .223 is the mags. Replace the BM or go chassis so you can run AICS mags. Of course, the CTR in .223 comes with great mags.
I've gotta order like 800 rounds of ammo for the Alaska S2H course that looks like is happening.ADI Blitz King 55 or 69 match

Your shipping math is different than mine. My feeling is that either the 69 ADIs or the AAC 77 OTMs will not let you down. Or go all-out and ask @h2so4 to do his worst.I've gotta order like 800 rounds of ammo for the Alaska S2H course that looks like is happening.
The ADI 55 BK's shot amazing in my factory Tikka barrel, but the BC fell off dramatically at distance.
Now that I have a PVA 1:7 .100 fb barrel, I wonder if I should just commit to ordering 4 cases of the ADI 69's.. I mean they should shoot well, but I have to get them shipped up on the barge, so adds a bit of expense to just try out a few.
You know If the AAC brass is similar to the ADI in that it’s not crimped and quality for reloading?Your shipping math is different than mine. My feeling is that either the 69 ADIs or the AAC 77 OTMs will not let you down. Or go all-out and ask @h2so4 to do his worst.
