Tikka 22 ARC conversion?

Wanted to take a look at having my 223 bolt face opened up and getting a 22 arc prefit for my tikka, has anybody done this? Will factory mags work?

I'm doing this currently (although going 6 ARC). Sending my 223 bolt to Kinport Peak Rifles to open the bolt face up - he quoted me $100 for the job.

Apparently, some members have had luck using the factory 223 mags, others have said a 22-250 magazine works better. I'll find out in a few weeks once my barrel arrives.

Would not call it “better” but for my needs the 22 arc makes more sense, longer barrel life, ammo is a little cheaper for factory options.
