I did some work. Seems to have done the trick, it really is that rubber liner Kinda vibrating at the shot.

Thanks for the effort to post this. I'm going to dismantle mine tomorrow and do the foam work. I also got the thing on sale for basically half price....I'll make it work...LOL

Mine quit twanging, but I could have fixed it by simply removing the liner and stuffing with foam.

Update, really happy with it now. No twang and arrows held tight. The QD is genius.
