Threaded Tikka T3x Gen 2 rifles and Hornady 6 GT 109 ELDM ammo found in the wild

I was in the Billings Montana Scheels yesterday and they had 4 of the new threaded Tikka T3x Stainless Steel Lite rifles in stock. One each in 6.5CM, 270 Winchester, 30-06, and 6.5 PRC. The barrels do not look much different than the unthreaded SS Lite barrels except there is a little less taper from where they exit the stock to the muzzle according to my eye-cromiter.

They also had Hornady loaded 6 GT ammo with the 109 ELDM bullets in them. Good to see these out and about in the wild now.

Our Scheels has had them out for at least a couple weeks, and they're the same price as the old ones $879. And they all had 22" barrels that I saw.

Nice. Bummer that they aren't a little shorter.

I looked quick and it doesn't seem like tikka has specs listed well for these new revs. Would be awful nice if they just had a gol darn "US product line" list with specs of what they ship that isn't special order.

Got a pic? That's more like it! An 18" barrel would be even better. And also chambered in .223, .243, 6CM, 6.5CM in addition to .308.

The ones I’ve seen and handled were all 20” barrels so far.
