Thread Adaptor or Re-Thread Barrel

Hey guys,

I have a Browning A-Bolt 7mm Rem Mag with a BOSS on it. Threads on barrel are 9/16 x 24. I also have Browning X-Bolt 6.5 Creedmoor Hells Canyon with a brake and that barrel is threaded 13 x 1.25. I can find thread adaptors that will get me to 5/8 x 24 to mount my suppressors on but I wanted to make sure thats something that will work vs potentially giving me a baffle strike and causing issues.

Should I get the thread adaptors or go have a gunsmith cut and re-thread the barrels

Following. I've got a BAR with a BOSS and have been wondering the same. Wanting to replace the BOSS with a can and wondered if the can would thread correctly.

I thought browning did 9/16Xxx threads should be easy to find ou.

I have adapters on all my rifles. A proper thread adapter that is locked in place with Rokset or red loctite will work just fine.
