They have a pretty good deal currently on match grade uppers in .308/6.5cm with an extra barrel. Everything I've been able to research has them being extremely accurate. What are the roksliders saying?

I have a .556 OBR. It is one of the most accurate AR's I have ever shot. It stacks them. My buddy was shooting it one day, and he commented on how accurate it is, too.

I put an order in. The spare 6.5cm barrel suppressed might be right up my wife's alley to take an elk with.

It’s not as good of a deal as their ultimate uppers were, but it’s still a great deal in the market considering the accuracy. Especially if you’re looking at large frame ars. Just keep in mind it’s a sr25 cut receiver and not the more common dpms.

I know people hate on QD mounts but they’re necessary on some of my rifles that double as night rigs. Larue’s QD rings are solid. Then again I’ve never had issues with any of the others I use, either. I just like their low rings.

That's currently my only experience with them. I have the same ones and agree they're great. Mine are also nearly 10 years old.

I've got a 308 upper and it is way more accurate than I am. Even with the "cheap" ammo. Highly recommend. I just wish I would have gotten the .556 ultimate upper kit when they still sold them.
What's the difference between. The ultimate upper kit and their current match grade upper for $749 in 5.56? I ordered their combo lower kit and was planning on picking up the 5.56 upper once my finances recover. All in $3600 for a full Larue .308 build and 5.56 with an additional 6.5cm barrel seems like a solid bargain!

Biggest difference is you got everything for the rifle but the lower for $791. Just raised the price. Definitely a solid bargain currently. I plan on picking up the match grade upper at some point.

Use their stuff a lot and have never had an issue. Customer service is great, products are great, accuracy is great. Hard to complain about anything really.

They make really good stuff.

Their owner Mark is a blowhard.

They still make good stuff.

This, except their QD mounts are trash.

I’ve got two of their match grade 223 uppers and they’re stupid accurate. Can’t believe they’re selling that upper for the price they are. I had a OBR at one point that was also great, that was back when they were using lothar Walther barrels though and not making them in house

I’m not sure how good of a deal that 308 and 6.5 upper is at $1600. I’m sure it’s a fine upper but at that price by time you build out a solid compatible lower with equally good parts you can almost have a Seekins SP10 and I would much rather have that.

I've been meaning to get one of the 556 match uppers for quite a while but then just looked and they're $1299 so that's not happening anymore.

Primary arms just started selling them & I guess you could say it's an introductory sale
