Thoughts on CFMoto sxs

Anyone got any thoughts on the CFmoto side x sides? I'm looking at the uforce 800XL specifically. It looks great and checks all my boxes for the most part at 5k less than most others. Also looking at the Kawi mule pros, can am defender/commander and of course the Rangers. I don't see a huge benefit from an 800 to a 1000, for MY use. My use is general riding around with the family and trails with some light work. I don't live on a farm but have a 1/2 acre and just moved to a small town where side by side riding is a evening normal. The wife is completely on board and wanting one so just seeing what we want and the 13.5k price tag vs an 18-20k for basically the same machine sounds good! Lemme know your thoughts on the CFmotos!

My buddy is on his 3rd engine in a few hundred miles. I heard Jake at unknown had similar issues. I wouldn't own a free one.

Spend the extra money. If you watch you’ll find last years models in the Honda, Yamaha, Polaris in the $15k range.

In fact I’m local dealer has 2026 Honda 700s starting at $13.5k and Canam HD9s starting at $16.3k.

From what I’ve gathered through a few years of researching the CFs more often then not become headaches and the owner ultimately ends up with the more expensive machine in the end.

Running a '22 600 touring and its been a tank in the mountains (I live at 10000ft.) I haul firewood and my trailer around my property which is pretty steep, plow snow, and of course joyride time to time. It has given me zero issues, got through the break in and changed fluids and filters and still going strong.

Neighbour has one, not sure what model though. Loud as hell, as in you need to wear muffs.

I just bought a 2025 Kawasaki ridge since they are blowing them out. It is loaded with full glass cab, heat and AC and so far I like it. I spent las week in my friends new CF Moto and it was nice with some fancy bells and whistles mine does not have. I was pretty quiet and powerful. I have just heard a few bad things like listed above and CF Moto is made in China and that is usually a deal killer fro me.

A couple guys have the out here for ice fishing they are full cab models and they have held up well. The ones I have rode in are not as loud as my general

Spend a few extra dollars and get a machine that is known to work well, not one you have to asked about quality. Kymco can save you a few bucks, and they are solid machines. They are made in Taiwan, not China, and they have been making machines for other companies for a long time. They started out by making engines for Honda. They still make engines for BMW, Kawasaki and Arctic Cat.

The CF Moto's I have been around have all been solid. I have worked on a couple, but only upgrades. One did lose a rear diff, but I have changed more rear diff's and transmissions on Polaris than anything else.

The CF Moto company is making leaps and bounds when it comes to technology and stoutness. Are there better brands to own? They are all loud, dirty, and a blast to own, how much you want to invest in your fun is strictly up to you.

I have had Yamaha's, Can-Am's and currently have a Kawasaki KRX.

My son-in-law has one and he's not easy on his rides. He's had no issues with his for the last two years. It isn't as polished as most of the "mainstream" brands.
I'm a Honda Pioneer 1000 owner and have used mine from riding, towing, hauling and plowing snow for the last 8 years and am very happy with mine. My S-I-L is hoping to upgrade to a Pioneer soon.

I have the CFMoto CForce 600 Touring & I have had no issues so far. My friend has the sxs & has also likes it. It's tough to beat their prices!

Yes, they're made in China. However, a lot of parts on most brands are made in China. Also, CFMoto makes parts for several of the big-time brands on the market.
