Been running some Outdoor Research boxer briefs for a few months and they are nice and light syntheti pc (with polygene) also a pair of blended poly/merino that are a little heavier but solid and comfy.

Smartwool makes a better merino boxer/brief than icebreaker in my opinion, the anatomical line is not comfortable on the junk at all!

I like the Ex Officio give and go boxers and the Duluth Trading buck naked boxers are great as well. Both are synthetic and breathe well.

I got a chance to wear the new FL Dobson's on our Exo Death Hike. 42 miles in 34 hours, 12k of elevation.. and it was hot.. highs in the upper 80s.

The boxers never rode up, stayed cool when it got hot, and did a great job keeping the sweat off of me. When we stopped for the night, they didnt get super cold either. No monkey butt issues for me. Also when we got down to the river for a quick break, i took them off to dry out on a rock and by the time i had my water bladder filled up they were dry. ZERO odor. Same for the Wilken for that matter. I was very happy...

I'm completely sold on Aerowool.

C4E boxers. I take 2 pair for anything longer than a weekend. I am wearing the rest of my smart wool socks. I will be using Darn Tough socks from here out. I always wear Merino liner socks.

I really like Fits merino socks. I've also used Darn Tough and FL. Both are good.

I have used Ex Officio synthetic boxer briefs. I recently bought Minus 33 merino boxers. Wore them for a wedding I was in. 90 degrees and humid all day, they were a lifesaver. Never felt sweaty or clammy.

Stay away from Coolmax socks. I got some to try out and they are indeed cooler, but they stink. They will no longer be joining me in the backcountry and will be reserved for training.

FL Red Desert for me, but I want to try the new Aerowool ones.

Under Armour Boxer Jocks in 9" and FL socks for me. I like the idea of merino over the UA boxers but everything I've tried rides up and is uncomfortable. At least I know how the UA's will ride.

Saxx underwear. Found them at the Outdoor Retailer show. They have a "pocket" built into the underwear, which keeps your junk from rubbing your legs.

because my knees hurt 24/7 and I work construction I am constantly looking/trying new work boots & socks, even in this season - I just recently got curious about the KUIU socks so I sucked it up and bought a pair of the OTC's and I now have 5 pairs - Most comfortable socks I have ever had on my feet - I have no idea YET about how warm they are though ......
Sitka merino boxers (although I'm just sayin' ... make sure you have them on correctly) and they WILL fit right

I don't know about you guys but synthetic boxers reek so bad after a day or two I want to just burn them! Ive liked merino wool boxers like the first lite or core4 ones. Wish I could find a more durable option.
