Thinking about getting a co-ax press.

I bought an old bonanza co-ax and it is great for my rifles. Easy to size/seat and no hiccups at all. I want to get a turret or progressive for loading 5.56/300blk though, something a bit quicker than dispensing individual powder charges.

My CoAx is my favorite press.

For those complaining about the reach to the handle, have you replaces the long handle that comes on them with the short one?

This makes a world of difference. I made one that has a bigger ball for the top of the short arm.

I have both and wouldn't recommed either. The shell holder they use is a bad design.

The Frankford die holders walk making consistency impossible.

Priming on the co-ax and changing shell plates is a PIA. In order to fully seat primers I have to turn the jaw seperator all the way down - 30 hand twists (ask me how I know lol). Then to start the other process' it has to be twisted back up. Very tight work area, I wasted money on the curved jaws but they introduced slop. I put the In-line fabrication roller handle on which improved ergonomics some.

I struggle along with the co-ax only because I've invested in it but it takes the joy out of reloading for me.

I'm going to a MEC or Hornady once I decide to face the losses on the Frankford and Forster.

I don't prime on my press so that won't be an issue for me. I have heard complaints about the Frankford die holders being a little loose. I'm really looking for something that offers more consistency than my progressive. Maybe I could help you decide to move on from Forster. . . .

Just not ready to take my loss yet, shipping would exceed it's value.
