I bought a used X-Therm a few years ago. It had a couple pin holes I patched. Last year it got a really slow leak and after many frustrating attempts to find it I could not. I sent it in stating it leaked and I didn’t know from where. Turns out a weld was leaking so they sent me a new pad. Awesome they stood by the warranty on a beat up pad.

Next time you are looking for a leak, put it under water, if you didn't before. I also use a Thermarest pad, same pad for at least the last 10 years. It wears many patches, and it just keeps on working.....

It was under water at least 3 different times. Also covered in soapy water 4 times. I finally sent it in. Glad I did.

same experience here. I have a neo lite pad that had a slow leak that I couldn't find, so I sent it back fully expecting to pay for the repairs. A few weeks later a brand new pad shows up in my mailbox

I just used the Thermarest patches. It’s a 2 part patch. I have not had one fail.
