The facebroke, google, and twit punks have created themselves a new monopoly on communication, and communication is power. You can include Apple and like others too. And of course they share protections other media sources do not. Now that their America hating socialists are in power they can breathe easy.
They essentially have their own state, backed by their billions and supported by other billionaires who share the same globalist goals. They see us as not even pawns in the game. The politicians they own are the pawns. We the people they see as nothing but sheep.

I've been listening to Tristan Harris (the main guy in the film) for years. First heard him on Sam Harris' podcast. Absolutely depressing to know that we are simply commodities for tech.

What sucks is when you know people across the world who pretty much only use a social network to communicate. It's friggin hard to disconnect - no one writes letters anymore...

So start.....

i dont do twitter or facebook but the ol lady does. she goes off the deep end reading junk.

what is sad to watch is the kids. my neighbor had a son and wanted to have a great hunting partner with his son-----------who dont give a hoot about nothing but his phone.

i warned him when he gave a phone to a very young boy, the kid broke his heart. but he caused it.

Exactly why my son WONT have a phone until he can afford to go out, buy it, and pay the phone bill himself.

He is 7 now and sadly some of his classmates do have phones already and its literally all they do. They come over to the house and pull it out every chance they get and completely tune out what is going on around them. Came to the point I am the parent telling these kids those phones aren't allowed in MY house so turn em off or go home. They are over to play with my son so do that or leave. Im of course the bad guy with these other parents, unreal.

I'm not saying the position the Social Dilemma takes is wrong, it's generally a good idea to take in an alternate view.

He lost me at about 7:40 in the first one when he said “...there is no Gatekeeper...” He needs to update his video.

You seem to think I don’t. I have never stopped with the very few who are willing to write back. But getting people to write back is a whole different story. Try it yourself, you’ll see what I mean.
