Did I miss something a while back about removing forms podcasts #34 and 35? I was looking for them on the website and a podcasting app and couldn’t find them. Are they out there somewhere still?

I searched on the forum and couldn’t find the answer so forgive me if it’s out there somewhere.

They’re on YouTube. Probably a good way to get channel more traction with how many listens those two episodes get.

On the drop test one Form's Kylo Ren voice gets turned off for a couple sentences. I wondered if it got pulled down for his persec reasons.
It was re-released while they were in Africa and was not in numerical order. Those 2 episodes are now missing from Spotify. Those 2 episodes are missing from the Shoot2Hunt podcasts archives. The only place it can be found is on YouTube.

@Ryan Avery any idea when the "orange" Jellyfish will be back in stock? I want to try one out this winter and all my shit is bright orange cause I'm notorious for leaving crap laying around and need to be able to find it again.

When you get one - test it out as a camp pillow. It's not as luxurious as a Goose Foot Gear or ZPacks, but for someone who's wanting to shave that weight, and can make it work, I think it's an option. But then, that's coming from someone who used to just fold up a puffy jacket and call it good ...

Not as thorough, but much of the same content was covered w “the hunt backcountry” podcast starting last July through the fall on sporadic episodes

On the 7 Backcountry episode it was indicated multiple times that a bullet at a given velocity = recoil. Statements seemed to be discarding claims that a 7 BC would offer less recoil than a traditional 62-65k PSI round that burns more powder to get same velocity. That stance ignores powder charge weight @Unknown Munitions . If a round is burning less powder to push the same bullet at the same velocity, recoil energy is going to be less because there is less weight of powder being pushed out the front of the barrel. Every recoil calculator I've seen accounts for powder charge. Example below that in theory could represent a 7 BC vs 7 PRC pushing same bullet at same velocity from a rifle weighing the same. Not trying to say federal is or isn't juicing the #'s but rather there is some validity to having less recoil as a biproduct of higher pressures with smaller cases.

Wild ass guess pulled from my anus for illustrative purposes. The little blip i recall comparing to 280AI made it look 280rem'ish in size. Certainly it could be more and 7 PRC could be less to narrow the gap but it was just meant to be an illustration that powder does impact recoil.

Gotcha. I saw the comparison too so that's why I was curious, when I had my 280AI I was only pushing a 162 at 2850 out of a 24" tube with 58gr of H4831SC and not near full on case density. I know it's not the fastest powder, but I imagine they're probably using a pretty stiff charge of some fast ball powder to get those speeds.
