You guys need videos reminiscent of some of the THLR stuff showing how to implement new stuff like the Rokstock. I don't think his stuff reaches a wide US audience but I realize you're also trying to get people to come to HAHA and the other shooting class. Some tidbits of that kind of stuff on youtube using tikka, rs1.2, rokstock etc vs a more traditional setup would be ideal IMO.

In fairness, even Form while talking about stock terminology, commented that it would be easier to show than to describe.

Ultimately I don’t really care. But I might watch a YouTube video in lieu of podcast if I could see helpful visuals.
No doubt! I’m a visual learner as well. But that was not an option in cost or timeframe for this podcast. I think we can agree it was better to have the audio podcast than no podcast at all.

Video aids are coming for the hearing impaired. :)

In the hopes that some constructive feedback is cool - I really liked this episode due to the content, and that you guys jumped into the substance pretty quickly. Ryan, for some reason your voice was very faint at some points, at least in comparison to Form and Jake. Not sure if you had a different mic, weren't as close, or what.

As for visual aids - I don't care so much, as I personally can't devote as much time to watching videos as I can to listening to a podcast in a car. There are tons of presenters who do both and neither audience is ever happy, but follow-up visuals should mollify most who want them.

In general these podcasts could benefit from some audio normalization between mics. Maybe something Luke could have a look at. Has been more of a noticeable issue in the last few than prior.

Like others above I only have time for long podcasts in the car or plane, so appreciate the audio-first approach. Short video explainer series as Jake alluded to should be a great addition.

It seems to be a common issue. I made the same comment to a buddy who was on a BRCC podcast. I thought maybe Evan was hogging the quality mic.

I agree with the above statement.

The first intro was very loud, the second intro was normal, now the creme puff boxing intro is so soft. And then the loudness of the podcast as a general whole is so soft / low and I have to turn my earbuds up that if a call comes through I blow my eardrums out.

There was one point in the prior fair chase podcast that it blew out my ear drums in my car. Luke almost caused a 10 car pileup!

I wonder if there is some issue with the podcast players that gets Luke off of the hook, especially since this happens to me across various podcasts.

Hell I just barely learned what a podcast was. I have no idea how to run one.
Other then they have some bourbon on the shelf behind fuzzy wuzzy.
I recoginized the elijah craig.

I'm just stoked someone finally stepped up and made a stock that's not just the same old same old b.s. They've taken a chance and put aesthetics aside and focused on function. Can't wait to get mine and start shooting.

I'm saving the podcast for a long drive tomorrow.

Are you guys trolling us still with this talk about fireforming 6.5 PRC into 6 UM?

Halfway through the new ACE one, just to where you are discussing land and groove width change with the count and surface area, it's getting interesting.

I've avoided the tight bores (236 6mms, 218 22s, etc) because i've seen gunsmiths blame them for jacket failure and earlier pressure. Makes sense to me that it might not be a problem if total bore area/volume is the same or slightly bigger due to narrower lands.
It grew my curiosity if it’s possible to tune short barrels with super micro changes creating the right back pressure to burn all of the powder without getting sketchy… I’m sure it’s been thought of with short barrels becoming more popular

Can we get the podcast on rumble? i like to support companies that value freedom of speech
You could listen directly from the shoot2hunt website or from any podcast app. I use podbean.

Listened to the rokstok episode. It was great, had zero issues following what was being described.
