The sadness of loss??

Many of you know of my child's disease and his struggle with the support you provided. I wanted to thank you all again.
The devastation of this disease has turned into the loss of our beautiful baby boy.

CB Chappell was born 13th Nov. 2013 and passed away 13th Aug. and will be laid to rest at 13:00 on Monday the 17th.

He was exactly 21 months old and struggled his entire life. He is now free from the Canavan Disease.

He was an angel and will be missed, but will be welcomed by man family members that have passed before him including his great grandfather namesake CB Chappell.

Thank you everyone for all your thoughts, prayers, and donations to my family as this forum has been a great support as well as a place to give me some mental balance.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family and your little guy although I know he's in a better place than we are, and he doesn't suffer or feel any pain any more. I lost my little Jeremiah when he was 19 months old in a horrible accident almost 9 years ago, so I know where you are coming from. I wish you and your family the best. If you ever want to really talk, I'm up for it, so just keep that for thought down the road.

Thoughts and prayers. I have spent a week in icu with my little boy and all the emotions that come with that, and cannot imagine what you are going through...so sorry for your loss, but like you said, he is now free of the disease.
