I would recommend owning a mix of QTEC, VGT, VTI and VOO for a long term investor.

VOO is rigged to win- dumping the duds and adding winners periodically, plus its about 35% tech companies
VGT has been very good to me- averaging about 18-20% per year for a very long time
My largest position is QTEC which is a little bit more diversified in tech vs VGT

Quantum computing stocks up Big today....the US is spotting them big money in return for a stake in the companies- some up over 25% today.

Should we expect INTC like performance?

Oh pardon me....I chimed in too soon, Some of the quantum computing stocks up 35% and 40% on the day.
Must be some short covering there.

I have a starter position in INFQ. Would like to keep adding to it around $10 but we'll see what it does this summer.

My thought from some of Jensen Huang's comments was that Quantum computing was a long ways off- so I didn't bother.

He has since back peddled on that a little bit. Now the US gov legitimizes it.....my guess is it goes to the moon. A couple of these up another 15%+ today

On a separate note, did you see the NVDA earnings announcement? $48.6B in free cash flow, Revenue rose 85% YOY, 199% increase in Networking revenue and data center Rev up 92% to $75.2B

The numbers are astounding

INFQ was up something like 60% in 24 hours.

As is said, NVDA is priced to perfection, which is a mighty high bar.

That and the all of the short term market factors including option contracts and short sellers. True, NVDA has that pattern of dipping on the earnings announcement. If you bought the last time it did that, you made money.

I'm hoping it gets down to $200 but I doubt it. They allocated a lot of their excess free cash to big buybacks which will probably kick in shortly setting a bottom.

My guess is that NVDA will be close to double its current price in the next 3 years- or sooner.

I guess trump is saying a deal has largely been achieved. We shall see but crypto dipped last night and has been in a rebound all day. Idk again we shall see, feel like we’ve seen this playbook before, hope for the best plan for the worst
