Been toying with buying OKLO for a week. Check it today…should have bought last week.

I bought 111 shares ($10k) of OKLO at the opener today and up 6.22%...also bought $10.2k of AVAV a couple days ago and up 18%...offsets my losses with TSLA and CVX today.

Nicely done. I was going to buy 10 shares around 75 a share but got busy with other things and missed it.

Would have been helpful, I get to replace the main water line into my house.

I wish you were. I was telling my wife the other day how nice it would be to have someone that was handy to teach me how to do things.

If it wasn’t winter, I might would have tried it myself but that sounds cold. Plus there’s a gas line right where you would need to dig and I haven’t ran an excavator in 15 or so years. Sometimes it’s just better to pay someone. Old duck hunting buddy is a plumber so I get a little bit of a deal which helps but still not cheap.

Just not a good year for it to happen. Having a kid, out of state elk hunt that was expensive, this and needing to replace my wife’s car…if we make it through Decem…2026, everything’s going to be alright, I know.

VTI / VTSAX are always a good choice in the absence of a better idea.

Not exactly stocks, but a crypto that popped up that I was interested in adding to my portfolio. Everytime something interesting comes up I'll throw in just enough change to hold it on my home page so I can see it actively. Bought 13 cents worth on Dec 29th, closed my app and just looked at it an hour ago. Up 120%. Was up 167% at one point. Lord knows if I would have bought a decent amount, a dip would have ensued.

Moral of the story, stick to stocks. Crypto hurts me constantly

Dang, I was hoping for some advice.

I was hoping someone would respond to you, too. I haven't seen many actionable stock picks thrown out lately. It's been mostly posts about past performance or safer-than-stocks investments.

I'm going to have to just roll my Rokslide stock gambling account into VOO if we don't get any spicy tips soon.

Gold might be a good compromise between stocks and crypto….

Easy to buy it with the GLD SPDR
