taking my MSTY loss like a man…it happens.

Holding out hope that BTC makes a run before it goes totally belly up..but I know that’s probably too far away to save it.

Anyone in here trading futures? Im in the process of completing a course and man....there is seems to be no crossover from trading on the traditional market.

Honestly it might not be. If/when BTC runs again, MSTR could blow up.. again. Options chain and volatility would blow up, leading to MSTY coming back strong.

Really relies on a BTC run at this point.

I tried it about a decade ago; realized it takes constant attention and I didn’t have the time for it , at the time , very different , very very volatile

I bought into MSTY, basically expecting what happened was going to happen, but hoping it wouldn't.
The first 6 months I used the dividend to buy more MSTY, to build up my dividend, then I switched to purchasing 2 single dividend stocks with the dividends. Right now I'm basically break even, but going to keep using the dividend to buy those 2 single stocks and reinvesting the dividends in them back into themselves.

If crypto takes off the MSTY we're to go back to even close to previous prices, I'd bow out, but the couple hundred a month dividend for what I invested is keeping the ship a float for now.

Yes I feel like I am back in college, and it is a daily thing. Luckily I have mentorship from a guy who does it for a living which is my end goal.

Edit: I never went to college .

I feel like I need to update folks one of my mentions a few weeks ago, Crackerbarrel- CBRL.

I stated to wait to buy until tax loss selling is done. Then they had a proxy fight and now their earnings will come out and it's anticipated to be bad.

The "Hold off" call was right on and lets continue to wait- at least until we see those earnings....then we can assess whether this is a short term blip or a long term problem in the industry itself.

Hold on to your butts.

Governments have been printing money for a long time.....sadly this is the easy route. Making gov more efficient is not in their DNA for any party. The only solution is less government and that will only happen if the voter base DEMANDS it.

Musk has detailed a lot of waste with DOGE stating it was about 80% Dems and 20% Reps. Why does this continue? Because the Reps complained loudly. NONE of these politicians are your friend.
Our goal should be less government.

This^ gov stuff seriously affects investing- one cannot ignore it. These bubbles [for lack of a better term] can go on longer than you would think makes sense.....personally I've increased my exposure to the markets. I feel it's necessary to own solid stuff to keep ahead of inflation. Stuff like companies with solid growth and earnings, real estate, etc. I don't own stuff that is backed by nothing.
