I saw screenshots of people who lost considerable chunks of change with puts on QQQ

multiple people in the discord I listen to everyday made upwards of 6 figures off of a few grand in less than 30 minutes thanks to 0 day spx and spy. I missed the initial move but caught some nvda calls for 150%. This market has been a day traders dream. I was thinking a downside move after the 10yr auction, glad i didnt try to anticipate and hold puts into it, as im sure many people got caught.

For the last couple of years, I stopped putting money into equities. With the market making new highs every month for two years, and with PEs at these levels, I figured to keep my powder dry.

But now that we are down ~20 to ~25%, I’ll start dollar cost averaging on every big down day.

Who knows? Maybe I’ll get lucky?

I'll stop using the T word.

It's actually pretty easy, go back and look that the posts I left and didn't delete, discussing politics that move the market is fine, and like @Brock A said going off on a tangent about politics isn't, no one in this thread cares about your (not meaning you specifically) opinion of politicians, however if said politician helps you make profits or causes you to lose profits by all means discuss the reasons why.

It really was. Reporting is that there are a lot of short positions still out there, so we could see something of a repeat if this extraordinary volatility continues. The swings are wild.
