The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

Had a standing order to almost double down on VOO at its 52 week low. Came close to hitting it a couple of times. Wish it would have.

I can't even imagine trying to make a bulk business order in this environment. Literally have no idea what the price will change day to day, minute to minute.

Options are paying well. At least from what I’m watching

The market is so sensitive to Trump tweets right now, so you may still have a chance in the coming months lol

Exactly. We know the playbook. If he says he’s putting g the tweets back on buy puts on SPY immediately in the money. Buy EOD or 3 days or a week out. As long as you buy right then you’ll be in the money. If he says he’s lifting earrings do the opposite.

The key is knowing what he says as soon as he says it

Market manipulation at its finest.

Who cares. Both parties do it. The difference is at least he gave a hint before hand. People that were paying attention made an ass load of money. For the record, I was not one of them.

Dont beat yourself up, he posts something like this multiple times a day .
Yeah, like he's ever been consistent, CEO doing this would get flagged for insider move

This may give more clarity though that the battle axe approach may not work for policy, or he doesn't have the stomach for it. Probably more credence that tariffs are only a negotiating tactic.

Agree, we run a small business and need to place large bulk orders every month, it's been a challenge, to put it lightly. Our supply chain vendors have been reasonable thus far

More that he doesn't have the political capital for it, I think. Repubs are ready to revolt.

Either way, I set my asset allocation back in January and I'm certainly not changing it in response to this chaos. Stay the course.

I'll be watching Buffet's next shareholder letter with interest. When he's ready to start deploying capital, I'll consider it.
