The Rokslide Stock Traders Thread

Well it appears he could loose around $100 million with this contract

But gain $42 billion here

And the folks in rural areas that use and rely on starlink internet aren’t about to drop it, even if they do dislike Elons positions.

Ultimately everyone has to invest the way they see fit, not trying to convince anyone, but I’ll take the low prices.

Just FYI guys since it appears some may be confused. Starlink is not related to Tesla in any way. It’s part of SpaceX. Don’t invest in TSLA thinking you’re getting a part of Starlink.

Also… you actually can invest in SpaceX. Just minimum investment right now starts at around $25 million. If anyone’s interested 🤣

I could see the tariff impacts on the market lasting 4-6 months. But Trump may get what he wants in terms of border protection sooner from either Mexico/Canada and reverse course. Who knows. And I've seen no news but would not be surprised to see tariffs on Europe either to assist efforts to end the war, increase Nato funding, who knows, etc.
On top of tightening liquidity I want to see further weakness before I'm a buyer (eg Nvidia). Before the trade war I had Nvidia FV around 160. Now not so certain and there are too many new unknowns. On top of that, I'd respect the (technical) momentum. Downward pressure on multiple indicators.
Also think the broader market is betting on a weaker consumer (why there's a pricing of more cuts in Fed Funds) on part due to tariffs.

Looks like MSTR is fixing to dilute shareholders again to the tune of another $21 billion.
I'm just a caveman so my opinion means jack squat but I'd stay as far away from this as possible. No single person on earth has more to lose than Saylor if BTC craps the bed & he's acting like it. I may be proven completely wrong in time but his guy is a lunatic.

Meh…I was tempted to add to my MSTR position just a couple minutes ago, but think I’ll give it a pass for now. I did, however, add to my BTC etf position.
I know this is a “trader’s” thread, but these 2 I’m not afraid to hold long term if I have to. I’m hoping sell both later this year, but…

Why not just own BTC or buy IBIT if you want exposure to Bitcoin? I'm not being critical, just curious to hear y'all's thoughts on why own MSTR?

For me, I’m trading the BTC etf and MSTR. I have them both because they don’t track 1/1 and I try to take advantage of that. Whatever BTC I may or may not have in a cold wallet is a bet I placed for my 3 adult kids. I have no intention of selling that and the kids know where to find the keys 😁

Rough Monday. Tariffs and recession talk on the menu.
TSLA cracks, in no mans land. Gap to fill. Will we see $220? SPY/ES hit long term trendlines.
