I sold before earningsI wish I would have put more into Apple before last week. That one ran pretty good.
In my experience nearly all the big tech companies run up to earnings then sell off.
Well outta CGXEF.
She may run to $5+, but for the $5K outlay and the 60 day hold those $18K in profits are a really sweet start to '22. This was always a swing trade for me.
Hoping that initial tip helped others here, I personally owe thanks to She_drills. Salude!
I have about 35 years to retire so its a long hold for me. Just letting it ride.In my experience nearly all the big tech companies run up to earnings then sell off.
Maybe I shoulda learned after MSFT though.
Same, I need to quit flip flopping and just hold stuff.I have about 35 years to retire so its a long hold for me. Just letting it ride.
Oh same for me too. I had an average of ~.75 on CDEV...I definitely didn't hold like Broomd did.Same, I need to quit flip flopping and just hold stuff.
I've got a sell in at $1.25 after watching that happen a year ago with no profit taken.Nicely done sir. What is your personal target exit point for GTE?
It's what killed me so bad last year was not having conviction would get too scared of every negative news headline. Granted things are NOT good right now but you truly cannot time the market.Oh same for me too. I had an average of ~.75 on CDEV...I definitely didn't hold like Broomd did.
That's awesome. I've been holding since last February. The potential kept me holding even though I wanted to sell when it opened at $3.50 this morning.Well outta CGXEF.

As always I appreciate the input. I'm certainly no expert but I had similar thoughts and also have a sell order in place for 25% of my shares at $1.25, will most likely set my stop loss around there if it keeps climbing but will most likely look to sell another 50% if we see $1.50+I've got a sell in at $1.25 after watching that happen a year ago with no profit taken.
Insert 'medium' OOF here....
Sure would be nice to see a two year hold rewarded at about $2
I'll keep an eye on it.
What's your thoughts and PT?

I bought some OVID, PRQR, QURE last week . Im picking a few more biotech selling a few O&G. Maybe worth taking a look at these. Ive been adding to AMD too.You guys looking at anything besides oil lately?
I cut tech for smaller losses earlier this month and debating when to jump back. I have 35+ years for it to grow.
You should dip back in we are going up and up. Exploding growthAnd like someone else mentioned Microsoft. I don't own currently but have in the past. Should have held on
Damn, I hope not. So far, this last one has cost me $18K of my tech-heavy IRA. It was even worse before the last two days regained about $5K.Tech was way overdue for the slight correction it got, seeing another, larger one, this year.
