Haven't followed VET, BB; researched them awhile ago, Appears to be a solid oiler, hey they survived c-19 until now and that's saying something.
Their 28%(?!) divi is offline due to pandemic, but that's a sweet perk in OG.

Little oiler UVSE might be worth a peek, guys; especially at about .0003-.0004. Holding a few milli shares myself.

Bought a few bucks of UVSE. Maybe it will be worth something in a decade and I'll be able to offset losses

Hedge funds managers are the worst, f them.

They were spreading panic during march and getting rich, need to be able to get paid on both sides of the equation or not play at all IMHO.

Buying puts is nothing. You don't get into hotter water till you sell them and even then, it's to your benefit if you sell one and it hits.

Buying calls or puts is simply leverage. You can't get assigned. Max loss is the premium paid.

Yeah I've edumacated myself on options a good bit and have a finance background. It's more a personality thing, like I am hesitating to take that first hit of the crack pipe. Fine line between smart use of derivatives to hedge and make easy money and straight up going to the casino.

id say thats spot on. i find it really hard these days to buy any equity that I cant at least afford to write ccs with decent premiums. everything id like to do that on is out of my league so that brings me down at most buying spreads. Its pretty rare I have the money to throw into a cash covered put that I have confidence in owning if it dips

Jobless report shows unemployment continues to drop. Yesterday morning the market was looking to turn and by the end of day it had turned the corner. This next wave up should take 2-3 weeks, lets see what it does once we get there.

Job openings report shows job openings on the rise.

The chart shows the wild ride we've been on this past year and where we are sitting today. At the beginning is the 2008 crash.

Took some profits today and sold at .24, but I hope she rips well beyond that for you fellas.

I just bought... it had been on my list for awhile as well. I think there is some decent upside to be had.

Yesterday morning I wrote that the market looked like it was turning a corner, by days close it had turned. Looking at trends/events over this past year the current turn is following the action of all prior events including the COVID recovery. None of these events reversed once they turned. If no big crisis comes along it's looking pretty good for the short term. For this rising wave I'll throw a WAG and say it'll run 2-3 weeks to the end of the wave if nothing gets in the way. Once the wave tops out it's too early to say if it'll stay awhile or reverse.
