Completely out of the loop, but as an Agronomist, I predict drones being a common sight in the machine shed. The last one I saw can hold approx 200lbs of dry product, such as cereal rye for cover cropping, and be switched to spray liquid in a few minutes.with DJI losing lawsuit which drone company is going to pickup the business?
The severe southern rust of corn outbreak in the upper Midwest is gonna be fresh on everyone's mind, especially when they see the ROI of a fungicide application this year.
I'm thinking anyone with 1000 acres of corn and a grandkid is going to have a UAV capable of liquid application within a couple years.
