I'm holding my CDEV for the long haul--If I lose it all to delist, bankruptcy ect, R/S, so be it. It's an otherwise great company in a sea of Covid oil overflow.
Beaucoup shares around .30, I hope to see $3.00+ by '21.

Fark it, I say.

Kept most of my other powder dry, I did pick up a bit more GPMT on its lows. Most of my other porfolio weren't in 'buy' positions.

I’ve also been watching GPMT a lot lately. I have several buy orders in for them in the $3-$4 range. Got hit for the first at $4.50 today

Just wondering who's taking advantage of this little dip in the market to buy some stocks on sale?

I like cruise lines. Carnivals always a good company and the Oil companies are getting hit.

I put several thousand into Disney, Boeing, and Alaska Airlines beginning of the year. It’s been the perfect trifecta of crap for those three since Covid hit. Not sure I trust myself to make the right picks.

Any thoughts on which credit card companies? I bought more XOM and OXY for the longer term but it makes sense to pick up credit card companies too. Visa and/or Amex? Others? I know this choice is on me but any insight is appreciated!
I'm just some random guy but I have been grabbing Visa/Mastercard.

TOPS is much-coveted oil storage. Makes sense they would gain.
I thought tops got set to 0.18 per share in whatever money problems they are going thru. Something about selling the tankers they only partially own...

Probably part of why they went from 13 per share to 0.25.

Anyone got any educated insight?

Even though we all realized that quarterly earnings reports were going to be very bad due to CV, it seems that it really was not priced in fully. KO - "worldwide demand is down", IBM - "companies are in a cash-conservation mode".......no kidding! If the market is going to go red every time a major company releases their (obvious) findings, then I think we have more pain (buying opportunities) ahead. I was in the camp of thinking we had found a bottom, but I have changed my mind.......

I would also do some research on oil companies before buying heavily. The they are saying $20 oil will cause 300+ oil companies to file, $10 oil would cause over 1000 to file bankruptcy, so check their cash reserves!

CDEV having a nice morning, but with every other single oil stock in the red, I am once again left out in the cold not understanding what the hell is going on!!!???

I waited picked up CDEV at .28 and flipped it for a nice profit today. Bought some UNG yesterday. Up decent today as well as TOPS. Thanks broomd. Everything else is down picking up some oil related stocks on limit buys today. If Ba drops below $130 pick up some more. Way down today, but that's ok doing some dollar cost averaging.

You bet, my pleasure...

I coulda popped CDEV for some gain, it's up a chunk, but I'm going long...I want $3/share outta this stock.
I bought more EPR at it's low and tried to get into BA, but missed my buy by a penny or two.

I was planning on being out of buying until May (paycheck) but if this continues I'll have to scrounge and get more in...

And jumped in on a bunch of EPR and TOPS today at low. so thanks for that too Broom

Picked up APA at opening at 8.19. Big risk but think worth it. Popped up to 8.69 this morning. Down a bit now. Picked up more AM at low today and doing ok on that

Tempting to take quick profits

+1..

Sweetened a few...
Added 50 shares of BA at its low, I woulda liked 133 or less for a short, but things are slowly trending up. What was a 'buy' point two weeks ago has changed I suspect.

I have APA on a buy at 7.45. Don't know if or when that will hit.

This market could hit back at any moment and it would leave a mark!

Buying individual stocks is just too risky for me, I prefer mutual funds over the long run. Key is to make sure your portfolio is balanced between stocks, bonds, annuities, cash, real estate, etc to make sure you survive the next big downturn. I am two months from retirement so that is my strategy, somebody 20 years from retirement can afford to take on more risk.

Much Agreed. Mutual Funds are the way to go.

Bank of America has now priced gold target at $3000. I think I will take a few nibbles of KL, SSRM, FNV tomorrow if they aren’t jumping like crazy. Not a lot, small percentage of total

I picked up VXRT early yesterday, rode the wave and made a great profit today. Im very much a beginner and with a full time job that doesnt entail being able to watch my phone or a computer much, im hesitant on what to buy etc, but im having fun with some freeflow cash and trying to pick things up. This trade pulled my entire investments into the green over the past couple months. hoping to keep it going up slowly
