The REAPER from Unknown Suppressors

I've got a TBAC Ultra 7 and love it. Going to shorter barrels id almost get another. I guess what compares to that the best in sound (lots of variables I know)?
The OG looks slick but I think I'd be disappointed. I need to just go hang out with Avery and demo some cans.

You're definitely not the only one. I would have preferred shims on the brake if possible. I don't like the suppressor not being completely mated against the machined surface of the muzzle. I do think the brake adds some additional value to the Reaper.
Can't manufacture shims that large at .001".

We're hitting a price point. Its not self timing, but its $80-$100 less than the competition.

If I were going to use a DT mount, I would be right there with you. As it stands, I am already mildly pot committed to the A419 Hellfire mount, so now all I have to do is the time adapter on each barrel and the can/brake should be positioned quite nicely.

Not being a machinist, I had never given any thought to diameter dictating thickness (or vice versa), but that makes sense now that you mention it.

Is a self-timing option still a possibility?

Rumor has it the NFA branch is approving forms again. Hopefully the Form 3 for my Reaper gets submitted soon. 🤞🏽

Like one for .338 Federal. Probably have to build it for the .338 loudenboomer magnums though in order to sell them.

Is this the wrong rocksett? My end cap and DT hub both are still working loose in short order.

Yes. Mine got approved the day they went back to the office.
Good to know. Hopefully I’ll hear something soon. My order from 6 weeks ago is still processing. I was hoping to hunt with it this year, but the shutdown squashed that. Now I’d just like to fondle and caress it. Because that’s what everyone does, right?

Right guys?

It’s what I use and mine are fine. Are you cleaning with acetone then let it set for 24 hours? Then hit it with a heat gun.
Yup cleaning with bore cleaner, cleaning it with acetone, letting metal dry, letting rocksett dry for at least 24 hours, but I haven’t tried heating it. I’ll try that this time.
That’s Rocksett. You need UM’s new patented Rokset
Dang they get more of my money. 🤣
