It is a “6.5mm” can. The bore will fit 7mm if your muzzle is threaded perfectly. An alignment rod will show it, and if it goes- 7mm is fine (though I don’t know if US will recommend that). It is the can I am using on everything 7mm and below now.

I'm surprised they are doing a 6.5 bore in spite of how vocal you are about smaller bores making almost no difference in dB.

Will there be a 30 cal version in the future?

Cliff and I put 60 rounds of 7mm Rem Mag through it in about five minutes. I have 52 rounds of 6UM though another with zero issues.

So are all OGs after the 12th going to be under 8 oz or is that just the 6.5?

Muzzle forward cans it makes almost very little to no difference. For whatever reason it does make a noticeable difference in some/maybe most reflex or OTB designs.

There is a significant difference in my AB rap 8 and OG in recoil reduction (6lb 6CM) it’s weird. The OG is perfect for my personal truck gun 16” 22 CM and 223 trainer. I need one more suppressor that has ability to run with end brake, for my daughters 6CM

I’m sure it does a bit, it’s a much larger can.

A tighter bore absolutely makes a difference

Forty of them were snorty reloads from best of the west, 180g VLDs. I don't remember what the other box was 150g something...

The OG is nigh unbreakable. The new can took 50 rounds of 7mm REM Mag back to back without issue.

Haha. It sounds good. Has the same general sound as most OTB cans, but less pop.

We are working on it, we haven't made something better in 30 cal better than the OG. We have a lot more development left to do before we have a Gen 2 OG. A big driver for why the OG65 is quieter is the bore is smaller. We discovered this a couple weeks ago. The weight change was driven by what we learned making the reaper!

No this isnt the preditor. though it would make an excellent preditor can. The OG65 came out of left field as a "random prototype" that was so good we decided we have to offer it as a product....

If I understood today’s podcast there is no timeline. They’re still working out design, pricing, and interest.
