The REAPER from Unknown Suppressors

I melted an LS wild cover, I even sent it back on my own dime at their request after being told he’d send me a new one. That was a few months ago and I have not received a new one. @hereinaz gave me a tracking number for one but that was like 3 weeks ago and it still just shows as “label created”.

I’ve given up on getting the replacement, I wish I hadn’t spent the money shipping the old one back, he basically lied to me and it cost me money.
If this is the first time you’ve contacted him about the delay, that’s pretty low.

If you know @hereinaz, he wasn’t getting one over on you.

Communication issue probably… lying doubtful!

Hey, I don’t know why exactly it didn’t get out, I will own it, I make mistakes sure, but I didn’t lie. Post office also sucks, could be lost, but that is not your fault.

I will refund the twice the amount you paid and still send you one.
I don’t want any money refunded man. I’m not after that. Just seems crazy that you were so excited to get the burnt cover that you offered to give me a new one, I never asked for that either, yet here we are like 3 months later.

It’s sort of a respect/lack of thing going on here, you were excited to see the melted cover so you could evaluate it so I made it a priority to get it to you promptly. Now I’ve been sitting here with my dick in my hand for like 2-3 months….

Sorry this happened, but @hereinaz is a fantastic dude and vendor here. It’s clearly an error and not a lie.

I melted an LS wild cover,
I’ve shot 6 LS Wild covers on various suppressors nearly daily, shooting the guns until the mirage is so bad I need to switch guns. I just slid one off a polonium k full auto rated can from a 22 Creedmoor that burned out a barrel. It’s still fully useable.

Is also like to see how it melted and what the use case was. Have a link to where this was posted here? Would like to avoid melting mine.

Anyone able to provide a length measurement for the main body of the reaper? Assuming that’s the length needed for the LS cover?

It was all posted and discussed in that thread dedicated to the LS Wild covers. I’m not going to go dig it up. I posted pics then he posted more pics after he received it.

If you can get through the 223 threads, you’ll be able to get through the silencer cover thread and find it.

I tagged you in the thread since thinhorn_AK couldn’t be bothered to after complaining about it in a totally different thread

Sorry I didn’t feel like spoon feeding him things that he could find on his own. (I’m actually not sorry at all for that)

I do apologize though, I was responding to a guy asking about melting that cover, I shouldn’t have made that complaint on this thread.

I do stand by it being BS though, I live way out of town, I drive 45 miles for no other reason than to get the guy the burned cover back so he could evaluate it, and I also used my own money to ship it back. I regret doing that, I was under the impression the feature was appreciated.

I remember it now. Thanks.

If this can does have the bore to shoot 7mm through,
That's what I'm wondering about, the name is 6.5 (I presumed caliber but maybe it meant something else), is it rated for 7mm or were they just torture testing it and don't recommend that normally?

You mentioned long wait and tracking with no movement, did you reach out to them in the background to ask a status (you didn't in that thread)?

I can tell you as someone that also ships things out I provide a tracking and then archive the order and assume if someone doesn't get something they will ping me there is an issue. I don't review every tracking number to make sure they were all delivered. Also with lots of irons in the fire I'd hope if I forgot something along the way someone would ping me first also (which you may have done, it just isn't clear). I surely hope you didn't send something that long ago and this is the first time you mentioned it to them. If you did reach out previously then yes that is a bit annoying, if not cut some slack and ping them in the future imho.

It’s not tracking with no movement. It’s a “label created” so no shipping ever took place.

And I “pinged” them many times as evidenced by the PM thread in my inbox. This is absolutely not the first time it was mentioned to them, not by a long shot.

I love how people just assume they know every detail. Why is it that people never ask for details???

It is a “6.5mm” can. The bore will fit 7mm if your muzzle is threaded perfectly. An alignment rod will show it, and if it goes- 7mm is fine (though I don’t know if US will recommend that). It is the can I am using on everything 7mm and below now.

I literally was asking for details rather than assuming. :)

I stated a couple proactive caveats about how I see it from someone sending things out. Sounds like you did your due diligence and have a right to feel put off.

(for what its worth on the label created thing, if it somehow got lost between being dropped off/picked up and scanned in by UPS, a seller could think its out the door and enroute, hence why I'd want someone to ping me. You said you did do so thus you've addressed that caveat already, good to go.)
