For the folks wanting reaper + 3” reflex, it seems like that’d be pretty dang heavy considering the OGL is 4”+4” and weighs 15 ounces. 6”+3” might be even heavier?

Lots of iterative design and testing has resulted in significant weight loss. Unlike most (all) manufacturers, Cliff understands constant design and experimentating- the printer is putting out new designs to test every other day nonstop.

The OG functionally has no restrictions- that’s actual no restrictions, not “no restrictions but they’ll blow up”. If you can get a 33xc through an OG, it will take it.
The Reaper is lightened to where a 20” 300prc didn’t damage it with 99 rounds back to back as fast as possible. It too has nearly no restrictions- but it probably has some. There is a new can coming out tomorrow, that is very light, that will have caliber restrictions, but probably no barrel length restrictions.

How's the suppression on that combination? I'm genuinely curious as I have a big stupid magnum and a more compact suppressor is on my radar.

I think it was low 140 dBA at the ear. It was definitely a suppressor, but I wouldn’t choose to shoot it without some version of ear pro.

You had to drill a bigger hole in the .30 caliber OG, iirc? That was definitely one of those “don’t try this at home” things, right?!?

This is awesome! Im glad US keeps testing and improving. It also makes me very happy I didn't pay for an OG yet

The OTB deep dive US is taking is going to evolve for a bit until they feel it's just right, and it'll still get tweaked I'm sure. Kinda why I'm waiting till next summer b4 I get an OTB can.

Love that US keeps trying new stuff. I dont need a tank to harness 18" 223 through Creedmoor gas levels at modest hunting rifle volume shooting. lighter/quieter is attractive for that application.

I know it’s bling, but I love the 3d printed topo contours on the reaper. US should make that part of their branding on all their suppressors. Would love to see that on the new version of the OG.
