I ran the Arc Teryx knee pads for a season and didn't like how they moved around. Sure do provide SOLID protection but they were a hassle for me in the high country. I ran the Sitka Mountain Pants as part of a test and just forced myself to wear them. After about 10 days of field time the knee caps molded to my knees and fit MUCH better. They could be more burlier but for my hunting they work perfectly. If I am doing a tactical shooting class or something I still go back to the Arc Teryx, but for hunting I am a big fan of the Mountain Pants. I can easily find things I would tweak on them, but have yet to find a pant that works as well for me.
I have heard rumors of new pants from several different companies so I am excited to see what 2015 brings.

That would be a sweet pant!.... I would love the attack with water proof (yukon) knee/butt like the sitka mountian/timberline.
