This was a fun one to do with Ryan of @Leica .

While we talked a lot about their gear, we also talk more broadly about where optics are going, and how to use them as an entire system. I don't have all the latest technology in my optics system, and it's super interesting to learn where things are going now that the glass itself is nearly maxed out in technological advances that it can make.

Especially on the back of the Hunting Tech in Idaho episode we just did, I mentioned in here that it feels like we're faced with the Uncle Ben quote from Spider-Man, "With great power comes great responsibility," as it applies to these tools we have in the next era of western hunting optics.

Regardless, I hope you all who like to nerd out on optics and long-range tools enjoy this podcast!

The WES! technology sounds interesting and your acronym "WhEther i Suck" was hilarious.

That predator Calonox therm is shown in their banner at the top right of forum if anyone wants to see it or

Glad you liked that Robby! Haha.

I'm hopefully going to be bringing a thermal down to Argentina with me next month! Excited to take 'er for a spin!

Thanks for putting this together Jaden, Ryan seems to be a good addition to Leica.
You bet man! Yeah he's a real level-headed, nice guy. Seems to really nerd out about his stuff, which is great for people like me who are unfamiliar with all their tech.
