I’m sure it will really blend all your blaze orange gear. You color blenders do realize that deer/elk/ moose are basically color blind right??? Y’all sound like my wife trying to pick out wall paint. Hughes and undertones and what not.
They're are actually only red/green color blind.(why wearing blaze orange doesnr effect them)They can still see contrast. Which is the purpose of most camo patterns. Its to break up the outline.
If you think they are so color blind then go antire season wearing florencent blue and let us know how that works!

Personally i think this will be pretty effective for dessert hunting. Expecially for coyotes. Givin that coyotes are actually color blind seeing only black and white. They see green as white and also tans and other light earthtones. I like the smaller black spaces on this pattern compared to the verde. Obviously anything black on a white canvas will be easy to pick up on expecially if there is any movement at all.

I like it allot better than Vias. I think it would work just fine everywhere I hunt. Up close it's looks different but I bet at a distance it would work very well. I like it.

Nice pattern. Color isn't as important. Green is not a good color for deer anyway, as what they see is the brightness, saturation, and contrast. Those are what matters, and Valo looks like it nails these very well for most hunting except snow.

Going more environment specific...…...Original Vias had more contrast before they darkened it down.

The Original Vias did a bit more of this....

I was predator calling in the Nevada desert with a few other guys. I wore Mossy Oak Brush, picked a decent rock to use as a backrest on a hillside and set my tripod and 22-250 up. Then I just settled in and worked the Foxpros remote. All three guys said they looked but could not spot me until I stood up 45 minutes later. They knew where I was but the pattern blended perfectly. It was cheap camo but it worked great.

Camo has its function, sure. But most of the change in design is to attract the hunter to spend new money replacing his old wardrobe. I have a few KUIU pieces. They make a quality product, but it's expensive as shit and I'm not gonna keep buying the latest and greatest just to stay fashionable. It's an investment that gets a TON of consideration before purchasing.

This stuff looks good IMO. Not earth shattering good, but it's quality. Over the years I've gone through all the Mossy Oak and Realtree stuff you can handle. The issue for me wasn't the pattern itself. I got tired of buying crap clothing that simply had the license to use the name brand camo. I personally appreciate the fact that brands like KUIU and First Lite are producing quality products and not bastardizing the name by letting Wally World sell junk clothing in their likeness.

This pattern would work well in the west as well as a midwest whitetail setting. If a guy is starting to build a wardrobe, this wouldn't be a bad choice to run with. It's not, however, good enough to get me to move away from my current gear. 🤷‍♂️

I familiar with how camo works. And marketing.
