Out of curiosity, why not have the daisy chain down the center of the spotting scope pocket? That way you could run it on the sides of the larger packs too just the like medium/large side pockets.

Which pack would you recommend for a 5-7 day hunt? I really like the looks of the markhor. Also, are you using the meat shelf on the larger packs or just loading it in the pack itself?
