Idaho is known for vertical terrain and big country, but nothing could have prepared us for the 24-hour window that defined our season. In the span of a single day, our group went from searching for sign to being buried in pack-out duties for three mule deer bucks.

One of the things I love most about hunting mule deer is how fast a rough hunt can turn into a great hunt. Looks like it turned for you guys in a hurry, well done.

That's probably the biggest advantage a seasoned hunter has, knowing to stay the course because everything can change in an instant.

Congratulations
At least they were deer.... we did something eerily similar a few years back, but it was a quintuple with bulls.
