Yeah, the ATG pants are don't last and cant take any type of use. I wore them out hiking on pretty flat roads and general walking.

I am still on my first pair of ATG wranglers, so far three years of 9-10 day Sheep hunts. Will be rocking them again next fall.

Liner socks with toes. My toes froze wearing those stupid things. Its like wearing gloves compared to mittens.
Yak wool socks. They dont hold up and I cant tell a difference in warmth compared to my darn tough socks.
Outdoor vitals down booties. I haven't found anything I like about them besides the weight.
OR crocodile gaiters. Broke after 2 hunts. We will see how their warranty is.

Silky saws....the Bahco laplander replaced them and performed better.
Wrangler ATG pants everyone raves about. I've destroyed them so fast and stitching was terrible.
Alpaca socks....a marketing scam. Don't last.
Sawyer mini is a piece of crap.
Yeti products are a scam.

Were they the regular synthetic ATG or the reinforced utility? I’ve never had the synthetic, but the reinforced utility have been great even through thick green briar

The synthetic ones are what I was referring to. They suck. I have the reinforced utility ones and I actually like those.

MSR pocket rocket deluxe kit, the pocket rocket itself is great, the pot and pot grabber they give you in the kit is an absolute pain to use. Ditch the kit and use the stove with a titanium kettle that has a handle attached and works perfect as well as its cuts a few ounces of weight.

-mountain house
-modern flagship ultra fast action fly rods (sage one etc)
-Remington centerfire rifle ammunition

Thats crazy to me, mine have held up tremendously well. Wonder if they had a bad batch, or I just got lucky with mine.

There are the Walmart ATG, and the North40/tractor supply ATG. They are not the same.

The havolon is really a personal preference. I’m Too impatient and accustomed to real knives, but completely see why many like them.

Forgot to mention I despise any knife with a skeleton ized Handle/paracord wrap. The small handle is part of why I hate a havalon.

Yeah I over looked muzzleloaders, talking rifles specifically. I’ll take a 45 cal over a 50 cal muzzy though.

Really?? My bunghole was abused badly enough by them back in the day that I haven’t tried them in years.
