My first gun was the one that did it, an old Lebel bolt action 22lr that was remarkably accurate. It was a WWII send back by my Dad and later traded for a Winchester 1890. I now have tons of 22lr rifles but sadly no Lebels.

Mossberg 500 12g. I killed dove, quail, ducks, geese, deer, squirrels, rabbits and probably other stuff with it too

A used Ithaca single shot lever action .22.
Then a beater 16 ga Stevens single shot with very little bluing left on it.
Model 94 30-30.
Hard to believe we killed so much game back then. It seems most of us nowadays have fallen into the trap that you have to have a $2K gun, $2K optic, $500 boots and a $1500 clothing outfit to kill a deer... myself included.

Winchester model 1902, 22 short/long in single action. All grand kids learned on that one.

So lucky to have that today as it was passed down

It wasn't a firearm, but that Red Ryder killed a lot of tin cans and clay pigeons. Was introduced to rifles on a Remington Nylon 66 (.22LR) that I still shoot when I go visit my parents for the nastalgia. Pistols was a Ruger Single Six (.22LR) that still rides shotgun with my dad for snakes. Shotguns was a break open .410 that dad would give me one shell at a time when we were dove hunting so that I would learn to make each shot count.

There have been a lot of firearms over the years that I have made some special memories with. Each and every one of them has only strengthened my passion.

Started shooting birds, squirrels and chipmunks with a high standard 22 pistol and Remington speed master with the stock cut. Just a kid with a brick of 22

Beretta 92 9mm. They were everything when I was a kid - started with Army adoption (85) then Die hard (88) And Lethal weapon (87). Those movies were my Lone Ranger and Lash Larue. Not my favorite gun to shoot all these years later but the one that sparked the flame.

BSA Airsporter .22 air rifle my dad had when i was a kid. I couldn't count how many rabbits & pigeons i shot with that thing.
My hunting started with rabbit snares & a slingshot, but my passion for guns started with that.

I was always passionate about killing stuff, but my Red Ryder when I was 6 sure made that easier than the rock throwing I was using before that.

Remington 870 20 gauge. Worked all summer mowing lawns to buy it at the age of 12.

Still have it in my safe today, hoping one of my kids can use it someday.
