S&S Archery - How to Install the SRS Hunter Rail

I just epoxied the 1 inch of reinforcement webs I drilled out. Worked perfect. How many inches of the stock do you epoxy to get decent rigidity? Trying not to do the whole thing and save weight for my young hunters.
I didn’t need the epoxy but added it just for a little extra rigidity. I left it out of my buddy’s and it’s shot great. If you push the arca pic rail toward the front you can get by using a washer and lock nut without epoxy.
Interesting, looks easy enough. I may do that with the wife's 6 ARC. How's the balance in that location? On my Ruger American Gen 2 I mounted a SRS arca pic rail. I just drilled 2 holes in the hex nut location and used stainless 10-32 hardware with thread locker.
I was happy with the balance but my rifle is a 6.5cm Ranch model so it only has a 16" barrelInteresting, looks easy enough. I may do that with the wife's 6 ARC. How's the balance in that location?
She's got the 16" ranch also and loves it. Sounds like I need to git it done. Thanks for posting.I was happy with the balance but my rifle is a 6.5cm Ranch model so it only has a 16" barrel
