I have a 24” creed been shooting over a decade and never once did I think I needed 200-300 fps more . And at 70 bucks a box I really don’t need it .

Not for factory ammo and expensive factory ammo to boot. At this point I got other things to worry about than 4” on a bbl

Does it really reduce barrel life that bad?

I haven't seen any data from comparable cartridges (7 BC, 277 Fury) but I would assume it would quite a bit considering the higher pressure.

Good point. It will be interesting to see if they release more cartridges using peak alloy though
