The best 15x binos

The Swaro and Meopta are the only two to consider when truly upgrading.

They are so close I don’t know you’d ever see a difference optically. The form factor is where the Swaro has the advantage imo. Smaller and easier to manage. And I have no idea what either weigh but the Swaro feels lighter to me. May just be how they are balanced.

Would you choose the Meopta over the Swaros? Im trying to figure out if the Swaros are repaly worth the purchase right now. I have swaro 10s but am having a hard time spending the money. I've heard there is some astigmatism issues with the Meopta, but I don't know if enough to deter my purchase.

The Meoptas are pretty damn nice for the money. In my opinion they’re way nicer than the Leupolds you’ve been using. It took my 5 seconds of comparing the two for me to realize I was sending the Leupold’s back. I’m pretty sure there was a set in the classifieds recently for a killer price.

I have the meoptas, my hunting partner has the swaros. I would give the slight edge to the swaros. But the meoptas are everything I could ask for and I couldnt justify the extra coin to get the swaros. If I was going to spend more and upgrade from the meoptas, I would be looking to switch everything around and get into the NL pure line.

A few months ago I got the NL Pure 14x52 and was planning to sell my Meopta Meostars 15x56 Plus. The NL 14x are definitely a step up (at more than 3 times the price) but what surprised me was that the Meostars control glare much better and I prefer them over the NL 14 in certain conditions. Enough so that I decided to not sell them. The NL 14x are easier to hand hold, much better FOV, noticeably better image quality but the Meostars are still great glass and feel more robust. When I compared the Meostar 15 Plus to the SLC HD I did not see enough difference to justify the price difference. With the NL you can easily see the difference you are paying for.
